Tour Description
Our starting point for the Sonnseitn Round, a circular tour from Schladming over the Ramsau Plateau and back through Pichl to Schladming, is the Hotel Sonnschupfer in Schladming.
In the valley, we first leisurely follow the Enns cycling path until we reach the Untere Klaus. There, the ascent to the Ramsauer Plateau towards Birnberg begins on an asphalt road. Just before the small village of Birnberg, you turn left onto a meadow path and then continue along a nice forest path in the shade. After a short stretch on the road, you switch back to gravel and continue in the direction of Ramsau am Dachstein.
At Timmelbauer, the tour turns right and leads through the district of Leiten further to Vorberg. On the Ramsau Plateau, on comfortable gravel and asphalt roads, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape at the foot of the Dachstein. At the riding stable Zechmannhof, you continue cycling through the district of Vorberg. At the inn Steirerhof, the descent to Pichl begins. And then at the end, you get back on the Enns cycling path and finally return to the Hotel Sonnschupfer.
