Our hotel - in earlier generations a pure farm with agriculture - has evolved from generation to generation and has grown over time – slowly, but healthily and sustainably. Our most important task as a tourist business is also to treat nature with the utmost respect.

Our guests receive a chip for the duration of their stay, which allows them to charge their electric car. Payment is then conveniently settled upon departure.

Sustainability as Part of the Hotel Philosophy
- The water in our "green" hotel comes from our own spring. We strive together with our guests to reduce unnecessary consumption in order to further relieve the connected canal.
- We purchase our food largely regional (meat comes 100% only from Austria) - depending on origin and season and live waste reduction.
- Our guests can use the regular bus connection to Schladming upon arrival with their own car. There is a free shuttle service from Schladming train station. Furthermore, our guests can use all public transport for free thanks to the free Summer Card and Autumn Card.
- Free mountain bike rentals, as well as E-bikes, are available in our Bike-Hotel for all guests.
- We inform our guests about our environmental thoughts and encourage participation :-)

- We save energy throughout our entire operation by complete thermal insulation of the building, controlling the pellet heating, and managed electricity activation.
- We save water through useful measures such as flush stops in toilets, aerators in all faucets, etc.
- We avoid waste through a corresponding concept and of course offer a waste separation system for our guests as well. Waste is disposed of properly!
- We reduce or avoid the use of chemical products like cleaning agents. Our plants in and around the Green Hotel sonnschupfer are maintained without biocides or pesticides.
- In our administration, we use environmentally certified paper and avoid unnecessary waste of printed materials through the use of electronic invoices, etc.
